IN THE FIELD AT EVENTIDE
Gen.24:63
Provisions made and comforts kept
So far from home the bride does mourn
Her Husband provides for all her needs
But she is cast down by sin forlorned.
She abides in evenings light
The suns brightness oft so dim
She abides, but not alone
In solitary, her thoughts on Him.
Her husband seemingly far off
He dwells in and on her alone
His heart's desire and His eyes behold
She which was always foreknown.
When the Morning Star alas appears
The Bride will hear her Husbands shout
She then gloriously changed and raised
Shall lift her eyes and again be called out.
She whom was His before all time
Then caught up to meet Him in the air
To ever be with her Lord
The substance and evidence of her prayers.
Then beholding His True Light
Then removed from doubts and fears
Now longsuffering she faithfully abides
The bride adorned for her husband here.
