My Friend Jesus

Proverbs 18:24
"A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly; and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. "

I have a friend name Jesus
Through good and bad he is the same
He is always there beside me
Through sunshine and through rain

He answers all my prayers
but does not always answer yes
for I may ask for things
He knows is not the best 

He smiles when I am happy
He comforts me in sorrow
He gives me strength when I am weak
Gives me hope for a better tomorrow

No other friend is like Jesus
who shares His love with you
When you are in doubt and trouble
He will be a friend to you.
