Words

James 3:8
"But the tongue can no man tame;
it is an unruly evil,full of deadly poison.

Words come so easy at times
Usually when I am angry
Then when I need to offer a kind word
My tongue seems to be paralyzed

Words are powerful at any time
Wrong words can do damage, un-repairable
But words spoken with care can be a source of light
To another when they may think life is fruitless

So, Lord please paralyze my tongue
From speaking words that may hurt another
And give wings to words that are kind
That they may travel with love
To a fellow human being in need of a kind Word
