Sexual Relationships

(Scriptural teachings concerning sexual relationships)

God has decreed that “marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” (Hebrews 13:4) God clearly blesses and approves sexual relations within marriage (a man and a woman). All other forms of sexual relations between people or beasts are strictly forbidden.

A heterosexual (man and woman) relationship outside of marriage is called fornication or adultery. A whoremonger is a person that is a whoremaster (fornicator). A homosexual relationship is a perverted relationship which Webster defined as a crime against nature. (1828 edition) God calls it an abomination “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination”. (Leviticus 18:22) The New Testament teaches that in this life: fornicators, adulterers, the effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind (sodomites) shall not inherit (enjoy fellowship in the kingdom of God -- The Church). “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with man kind. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the Kingdom of God.” (I Corinthians 6:9-10)

Read Leviticus Chapter 18 for a detailed view of the laws of sexual sin. These laws apply today just as much as they did then.

Fornication: Is a sexual relationship outside of marriage
Whoremonger: a person that is a whoremaster (fornicator)
Adulterer: A married person who commits fornication and/or remarries while under a marriage bond to another.(fornication is the only sin that breaks the marriage bond between a man and a woman)
Sodomy: Is a homosexual relationship which Webster describes as a crime against nature in his 1828 edition.
Effeminate: To act womanish. A transvestite, homosexual -- Applies equally to a woman or a man
Abusers of themselves with mankind: is the practice of sodomy. (Homosexual acts)
Sexual acts with animals: (Today called Beastiality) "Neither shall thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion" Leviticus 18:23
Sexual acts between family members: (Today called Incest) Leviticus 18 forbids close relatives from having sexual relationships
